Each year DARE Wisconsin LTD and the Wisconsin DARE Officers Association conduct basic DARE Officer Training. The training consists of 80 hours of classroom instruction and uses the latest adult training techniques to prepare the officer to go into elementary and middle school classrooms to teach the DARE Curriculum. In order to attend the DARE Officer Training (DOT), you must be a sworn Police Officer with at least two years of experience.
